Classroom Norms
Will be discussed and decided amongst students during the first few days of school.
The eighth grade team will be using a consistent grading policy. Summative assessments will be used to measure a student's learning at the end of a unit, such as a unit test or an essay. Formative assessments will be used to track student's progress, such as though quizzes or in-class assignments. Students will also be graded based on their in-class participation, and overall preparedness; including homework and classwork.
